This is a review for the birthday/event bookers only:
I had called July 11th to book my daughter’s birthday party on October 12th. 11-3 pm was taken, so I was scheduled for 3:30-6:30 by a young female and I was told I’d be receiving a call from Hannah (who finalizes the events). My friend, who scheduled her child’s birthday party for October 13th, advised me to call back because they double booked hers and she just found out about it. So, I called today (September 16th) and spoke to Hannah, who informed me that she’s the only one who books events, and that I was not scheduled. I asked if it could be a mistake because the girl I spoke to before assured me that I was on the schedule, took all my information (party size, email, phone number, etc) and I had simply been waiting for her call to confirm everything. I was then told I could use other various (uncovered and public) parts of the farm to host the party if I wanted to. I told her I would not be booking with Beech Hill Farm.
I’m terribly upset by this, my family and I have frequented Beech Hill for many, many years. Now myself, and my friend too, are having to rush to find somewhere to host two toddlers birthday parties because we...
Read moreSo too start with their ice cream place... It's delicious ice cream it says it's Blake's ice cream on the wall which explains why it's so delicious. Love Blake's. I would never eat in there again though. The flies are tremendous... Take your ice cream outside because honestly probably less flies out there. The prices were insane. I got 2 mini cups of ice cream and 2 medium cups and it was 28$! Not expecting that. Let's move outside now. The path was a dirt path...easy for wagon not stroller in case you want to bring young kids. The animals look well kept so that wasn't sad as sometimes it is. Very friendly as well the kids could feed them grass and they didn't bite. For animals they had pigs, peacocks, goats, cows, donkeys, horse, bunnies and chickens. When you go up the hill you can go through a corn maze they did make a cool activity for kids to do when going through. Even the corn maze though for 4 people was $29. It was nice to go once but I won't be back due to prices. Thank you for your service though the ladies at the counter were nice. Went to visit on a Monday...
Read moreThis place is really amazing!! Lots to see, the kids were really having a great time. Lots of animals you can pet, tons of flowers you can buy, a 1 mile loop trail to take at the back of the farm. We will definitely be returning to purchase fresh beef & pork as well as going in the fall to do the corn maze. There is also a gift shop with ice cream flavors galore. I have to say we were not wowed by the ice cream though. I had maple walnut & there was not much maple flavor to it. My partner had mocha chip & had mocha flavor but 5 or 6 chips in the whole cup. Was still awesome having the ice cream in that farm atmosphere though. You will see cows, goats, an alpaca, pigs, peacock, horses, donkeys, ducks, chickens, & rabbits. Really fun way to spend a couple hours. Suggest afterwards go down to exit 2 on rt. 89 (2 exits down from farm one) & go walk the trails of the Concord Audubon. Then stop in to see the owls, eagle, & hawk in the back of the building behind gift shop. Head to the farm, you will have a fun relaxing time....
