The Dirt Track — Attraction in Concord

These guys put on a great show. I attended the World of Outlaws finals. They are super friendly in parking (free at our event), well organized, and heavily manned. They allow you to bring in coolers with food which is great. Typical track food available for purchase. They moved along racing extremely well and organized. My one knock on track is it is a one grove track mostly. Due to short track, the passing was minimal and generally just okay. The racing and facilities here are always a good time! They allow full pit access to the teams when they are working on the cars between sessions and a variety of views around the track. However, don't try to come to the event as a single. They refuse to sell tickets on the end of the row to single purchasers and prioritize pairs of tickets so if you want easy access and good views be prepared to talk a friend into going with you or sitting down low in the middle of a row. As a returning customer of this track/event it is frustrating that I cannot have my pick of "available" seats and would like to see them change...

The parking situation and leaving has gotten better from the past few years. However, this year the pit gate attendants are not on the same page. They were letting me in with just my pit pass and went to the lower pits to look around and when I came back to watch the racing they wouldn't let me back in and told me to take the shuttle bus back the main gate. That's just ridiculous and very frustrating. Get on the same page. Then they started early because of potential rain and then the weather changes and now they are dragging it out to make you pay for the high priced food. Makes you feel like it's a money...
