1921 Fort Fisher Monument — Attraction in Kure Beach

This was actually a really fantastic beach to visit. We stopped here on our way back from the aquarium and this was a great place to just walk around, or fish or sit out by the ocean. There's a long trail that goes along the rock wall and there is a decent sized beach as well. The monument itself is fairly standard, it looks nice but there isn't that much around. It's a very impressive Monument for a site that is predominately taken over by the beach. 12 done somewhat remote not the most easy to find but once you get past the beach area and all the touristy areas it's a great place to relax walk and learn about the history of the area. The monument in the area around it or a good start to what was obviously the beginning of the other historical sites in the area. This adventure was amazing and free to visit. You in the ocean from the rocks down at fort Fisher was amazing as well as the drive down through Carolina Beach it's definitely something to study and look at and amaze me and all of God's work and the things that we've accomplished in this world just a little piece of the war that we are here alive to be blessed from and through.
