As a photographer, I just HAD to get this iconic photo of the Milky Way rising over Hot Creek. Worth the trip during the day = amazing lookout. At night it is pitch back and could be a little dicy because one needs to drive about 2 miles over a gravel dirt road through some gates that say the park closes at sunset.
