
Charging a “Vendor” to park is even worse when the vendor is not even making money on the event they are attending. Like this weekend there is a train show going on and folks are having to pay to entertain the public with not enough compensation to cover the parking for the clubs that brought multiple vehicles to display their train layouts. Now I’m sure the folks that are selling goods will make enough to cover a 6$ parking tab, but I know there were over 50 vehicles brought in today that got charged to display their model trains for the public’s enjoyment/entertainment and they will have to pay...
Read moreWell, it was an entertaining outdoor expo to say the least. Awesome vendors, awesome folks. Unfortunately the manager of the event center duped all of the vendors. Charging ridiculous vendor fees, taking all of the vendors money, but not marketing the event until last minute. As a vendor, I would say beware and do your due diligence before setting up here. The regular staff were great though. Also I get you want to get as many cars as possible in the parking spots, but the disabled parking really needs space between the spots to permit wheelchair ramps and space for people who need the space to get out of vehicles. Just because they are marked for disabled and close to the entry doesn't mean they are actually set up for people who need and use...
