If you're looking for the perfect place to immerse yourself in the autumn spirit, look no further than Cox Farms. My recent visit to their Fall Festival was an absolute delight, and I can't wait to share the highlights with you.
Themed Hay Rides: Cox Farms take hayrides to a whole new level with a variety of captivating themes that promise an unforgettable experience including the Alien Encounter, Wild Wild West Adventure, Horse Petting and more.
Dino-Slide: For the little adventurers (and the young at heart), the Dino-Slide is a thrilling attraction. This enormous slide will have you whooshing down with excitement.
The Cornundrum: Cox Farms' Fall Festival isn't complete without a visit to their Cornundrum corn maze. Step into a world of whimsy and wonder where every twist and turn unveils a new and magical theme. After venturing through a school bus rolling tunnel, you'll experience an enchanting transformation that will make you feel like you've been shrunk down to a miniature explorer. The Cornundrum takes you on a journey where everything becomes colossal.
Free Apple Cider and Apples: What's a fall festival without the delightful flavors of the season? Cox Farms generously offers complimentary apple cider, a perfect way to warm up on a crisp day. And don't forget to grab a fresh, juicy apple to complement your cider – a quintessential autumn treat that adds a sweet touch to your visit.
In summary, I highly recommend Cox Farms. you can see the owner has put effort into every aspect of the farm to ensure visitors have a great time. Whether you're having fun ridding the hayrides, sliding down the Dino-Slide, getting lost in the corn maze, sipping on free apple cider, or savoring a crisp apple, there's something for everyone. Me and my family will definitely visit Cox Farms again next year.

Read moreThis review is for Fields of Fear (the Cornightmare Maze, Hayride, and Forest). We took my son (9) and his friend (9). The Cornightmare Maze was the scariest for me (my son says the forest was). There are tons of jump scares, banging, loud noises, and a few strobe lights. It’s not that graphic, but some pretty intense costumes, and sections. There are pretty cool setups/designs during the walkthrough, including a slaughterhouse, clowns, and narrow passageways (24”). My son’s friend had to take the “crybaby”exit for the maze. If your kids don’t like sudden loud noises, I’d advise against it entirely. The hayride is fun, it’s completely dark until you get to the staged areas. Again, lots of jump scares, and loud noises. There was a cool heavy metal scene, and a toilet scene that was as scary on a very different level. Clowns are all over the place, LOL. The forest was immersive, and similar to the Cornightmare Maze. The actors were all really great, and effective, probably some of the best I’ve experienced. I definitely was startled at least a dozen times, and it was fun. It was peak time, and tickets were $40 each, but well worth it in my opinion. We arrived at 6:30 or so, and hung out until gates opened. We were assigned Cornightmare at 7:15, the hayride at 7:45, and the forest at 8:15. It wasn’t overcrowded during our time slots, and started getting more full as the night went on. There were bonfires, the Dino Slide was open, plenty of food items, hot cocoa and cider too (all reasonably priced). The market was open after, so you can buy pumpkins, pies, whatever, etc. The farm itself is fun, especially for younger children. We’ve been many times, and enjoyed the day, the activities, and the atmosphere. It’s pretty cool that the experience at the farm can be a part of different ages with your kids, as they outgrow the kids stuff, and do the fear stuff. Either way, I highly...
Read moreThis place is insanely overpriced. $25 a person. For my 4 year old son and I it was $50 just to get in. That's not including everything else that you would typically want at a place like this. It did not leave us any money left to spend on anything else. They did give you a free little pumpkin. Probably worth about $3. I told my son we could smash them. He fell on the gravel waiting in one of the insanely long lines for the mediocre slides they advertise and he cut his forehead pretty badly. It was extremely scary and sad and absolutely no one gave a damn. I'm not sure what I would want, but there were lots of young people who were working there (very friendly, no shade to them, at least the ones who actually spoke to us were nice) and NO ONE came to check on the small bleeding child. We had to find our own first aid kit and although I was happy they had them placed around the farm, it just wouldn't have killed anyone to stop and see if we were alright. Additionally, there are so many people. Everything you might want to do, you will have to wait at least 20 - 30 minutes to actually do. Just overcrowded and cramped. Not picturesque like a farm should be whatsoever. If you are reading this and thinking about going, may I recommend saving yourself some money and skipping it or checking out another farm for their fall festival. Great Country Farms is far and away better than this. Maybe this farm is visited by people from the city, but to me, a country mouse, this is not what a farm should be. Also, we only saw port a potties, no indoor restrooms, and that's difficult when you have a small child. The whole place just seems dirty, and not like a farm, like a garbage bag. I also thought there would be much more to do, but It's hard to get a look at anything because of how many people there are just crammed into every space. Seriously, save your...
