Quoting Process: I worked with Pat Dorr on the price quoting process. Pat was wonderful again to work with for the 3rd year of getting my quote for our field trip. The quoting process was easy and I received the quote back quickly. I even had to ask for different price quotes for different arrival times back to the school. Any time I emailed Pat, I always received a return email back in a reasonable timeframe. I received both the price quote back quickly. Once I agreed on the quote, the invoice was sent to me to sign. Due to another company paying for our field trip. Pat has made the payment of the invoice process easy and straightforward. We have completed this process two other times in the past.

The Day of the Field Trip: This is my second time having Isaac, the lead driver, as my bus driver for a field trip. This was the first year I met Miguel, who was the other bus driver. Both drivers arrived early at the school. I saw they pulled up at the designated parking area at 7:00 am. They parked right where I needed them to park. They greeted me as they came off the bus and were ready to help me with whatever I needed help with. Our kids were able to board the bus and wait until we needed to leave. Our drive up to Santa Clara was smooth. We watched a movie on the way up that I brought with me. We made it to the Levi Stadium safely. When we finished our trip, the buses were there waiting for us. On our way back, the ride was smooth. Although, we hit some traffic. We made it back safely to the school. Our bus drivers were wonderful just like the previous years when we rented your buses for field trips. Thank you so much. I rate your company 5/5. Thanks again to your amazing bus drivers.

I used Discovery Charters for my wedding and the entire experience from start to finish was stressful and less than perfect. Richard, the guy in the office that was supposed to help me organize how many buses and their timeline waited until the morning of my rehearsal dinner (the day before my wedding) to tell me that the buses I reserved wouldn't fit for my drop off location and he wouldn't be able to get anything else at such late notice. He said the only option was to go in a big loop that would add 40 minutes to the pick up and drop off of my passengers. With no other option, I left it to my wedding coordinator to figure out with him. Day of the wedding, the 16 passenger shuttle driver that was driving the bridal party around added 20 minutes to the drive for me and my bridesmaids to get to where I'd be waiting before the ceremony. She then added 40 MINUTES to the drive when getting my groom and his groomsmen from their hotel to the ceremony spot (this should have been a 7 minute drive so 45+ minutes is unheard of). She had NO IDEA where she was going and caused the entire night to be delayed. My now husband literally had to get out his phone to give her directions because she took them so far out of the way. My itinerary couldn't have been more precise with where the driver needed to be, who would be there, at what time they would be departing and where they were going.
