Missing Hole Donut Shop — Restaurant in California

I was driving through Castroville late one night and stopped at one of my favorite Chinese food restaurants Li Yuen, right by the Missing Hole Donut Shop. I ordered a combo plate to go and ate it in my car. As I was sitting and eating I saw a man, his wife, and their two little girls pull up to the donut shop, delighted to buy some donuts. Unfortunately, the donut shop had just closed. The girls dropped their heads in defeat and trudged back to the car.. that is until a worker opened up the door and called the dad over. He let the family in and gave them an entire box of donuts to cheer them up. The worker and the owner of the donut shop waved the family goodbye, and the little girls had the biggest smiles. That is what a true business does. I’m sure to buy a donut from Dan Dan the Donut Man next time I...

This place is DOPE! The adorable spunky girl at the counter- combined with the gorgeous Latina sporting hot pink bangs, would have been enough for me to recommend this spot. But, Holy Heck! This cinnamon twist thing is the stuff dreams are made of. Its like an old fashioned cheese stick/twist we used to get at Maddocks Bakery in Soquel in the 70's. Chewy, soft, amazing. I haven't even gotten to my breakfast burroto yet! I wanted chorizo but they were out- so I'll have to settle for bacon. First world problems.... Great Job, Missing Hole!...

I moved to Castoville Ca., about a month ago I was offered a donut from an office staff and I could not believe myself that I had four donut! I have always been a one donut guy but not that day. I had to take my son visiting from Davis Ca. I didn't mention to him that I had eating the donut before so I just choose 3 and he pick one, 5 minutes later he ask me " Dad can I try one of your donuts" sure help your self. Well I should have picked 6! He was also amazed how good the donuts had been....
