3rd time playing here, In summary, the greens are in good condition and challenging, fairways definitely needs some maintenance, the cart path is the worst I've seen, and as others said STUFF ARE RUDE.
I just found this couse a month ago because I only have time in the morning so a 9 hole is perfect for me, the first two rounds were ok since we are the earliest group, until today, worst experience I've ever had. I have a group of two and there is a single player infront of us and a group of 4 in front of him. The group of 4 were playing slow, so us and the single player and the groups behind us has been constantly waiting and no marshal to speed them up. Finally on the 9th hole, right after I hit wood and my friend was setting up his tee, there is a guy from another hole(I believe he's from the group of 4) run into our fairway to hit his ball, so we have to stop and wait for him, and guess what, the marshal showed up from nowhere and tell us to speed up and saying we are holding back the two groups behind us, when I'm trying to explain to him what happend and he just cuts me off and keeps saying you need to speed up. What a joke, we've been waiting the whole time, where were you then, and how could we be fast when there is a guy on the fairway??? Not mentioning it's very rude to rush players while they are tying to hit the ball, you can talk to us after we hit the ball. I can tolerate the condition of the course but the stuff is rude, I'd find somewhere else to play just to not get...
Read moreIn my recent experience at Eaton Canyon Golf Course I was disappointed with the overall quality of my visit. Here are the specific issues that left me unsatisfied: CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. The 2 kids working the proshop today left a notice on the door saying ball dispenser was out of order and will be available shortly. My friends and I then practiced our putting meanwhile we awaited the balls to become available. Fortunate for us, a gentleman teaching a group of kids had a bucket of balls and gave it to us. thanked the instructor of course and we made out way to the driving range. Shortly one of the kids at the front desk came up to us and accused us of collecting the balls out of the field and taking buckets of balls that were left behind. I then told him they were given to us, he then mumbled something and walked away. I believe these issues could be addressed to enhance the experience for future golfers. While I hope my feedback is taken into consideration, it's essential to share this in the spirit of...
Read moreThis course is really nice. Some of the fairways are downhill and it's hard to see whether the group in front of you is clear. Some of the fairways are a little narrow, but overall it's a great course. The greens are all great and the course well maintained. The sand traps don't really have sand in them or at least the sand felt like straight dirt, but that's not too big of a deal. At the driving range you hit off actual turf instead of mats. That's great because it gets you into the rhythm of hitting off grass and hitting off mats isn't the same. Sam at the pro shop was excellent. He communicated very well and was very informative. He does his best to get people out in the course. He was probably the best thing about...
