Harbeck Lights Christmas Show — Attraction in Pasadena

Saw this display driving through the holiday light up at Hastings ranch. It's been a decades long tradition but the Harbeck show was new to me. The traffic back up for this was ridiculous so I parked nearby and walked over. Definitely a better option as you can stay and watch as long as you like without blocking traffic. Harbeck is a light show synchronized to music which covers the entire front of the property including the garage and an attached facade. Perfectly timed music and also a light up pair of angel wings made out of recycled plastic water bottles that is a photo op. This was a free event as is the whole Hastings neighborhood. But there are also neighborhoods whose lights are so brilliant they're nationally famous, like Los Angeles, California. I thought these decorated houses were in another states and felt only like a dream to take my kids there to enjoy that experience. I was surprised how close it was to home. We (my family and I) were coming back from universal studios and set the GPS to this location that I searched on the internet, did not tell them where we were going, I woke them up when we got there and surprised them, they loved it and we will come back again this weekend.
