My daughter and I stopped on our vacation to take some pictures and stretch our legs. It is a very nice park. The pier is really cool and picturesque. The only reason I will not give it five stars is that the parking was $8 and we did not know until we reached the entry booth. I gladly paid it. I understand the need for maintenance funds. But, I think there should be prior notice that it is a paid entrance park before you enter said park. Other than that, it was a great experience!

Made a quick stop at the State Park to snag some pictures and to watch the boats coming through the inlet. Fantastic view. Water was so clear that we were able to see a good sized Ray and 2 sharks (3-4 footers) just off the rocks. Looks like a great place to bring the family for the day for beach or fishing.

A very popular spot to fish. It has a real “locals” vibe. Most everyone is pleasant and everyone respects others personal fishing space. Parking is decent but depending on when you arrive you may have to walk a few extra steps to find a spot. The park is pretty chill, including a place to bbq and picnic.
