Not much grass a lot of biting fleas and mosquitoes something in the air made my dog coughs so I immediately got him out of there he was the only dog present at the time it was just before dusk whatever it was that was biting continue to bite me on my arms even after I got in my car they were little tiny white size creepy crawler bugs they were strange either way I will not be back put some sod down there are too many gravel chunks and stumps for dogs to hurt their feet on sore neck snuff tax dollars in that county to put down some good sod and water it and have a safe environment for the animals that are so precious to so many people. You can close the park for one or two days spray the dirt prior to putting the sod down until whatever the heck those bugs are use an insecticide that is not harmful to animals otherwise this would be an all right place and yes dogs cause wear and tear on grass but rolls of sod are not that expensive and are easily put in place you just water them if it doesn't rain it's not that big of a deal the rest of the park is nice because it's for people so take care of the dog area to they are just as important as...
Read moreGreat park, would give 5 stars but playground equipment could have better upkeep when something is broken. Either it takes months to get repaired (big covered slide) in older kid playground (fixed now) or doesnt get repaired at all (playground by dog park has a few broken things that have been broke going on months), or the feature is removed. My kid was disappointed that the ride on springy horse was no longer there. There were 2 once upon a time. On a positive note, this park has it all...walking trails, greenway access, 2 playgrounds - one large with big kid and little kid area, climbing rocks, swings, toddler swings and one small playground with just play structure. There are also 2 adjoining dog parks (small dogs and large dogs), tennis courts, skate park, baseball fields, rec center, track, multi use fields, pavillions and probably something I'm forgetting. Clean, safe and plenty of parking. One of the best parks in...
Read moreGreat park. Tennis courts, dog park with a separate small and large dog area, skate park, baseball fields, basketball courts, soccer fields, lacrosse firlds, track and playground for children. The park has a large trail that completely runs the perimeter of the whole park. The gym is nice and does not cost an arm and a leg to join. It is loaded with Pokemon stops and gyms for those who play Pokémon Go. There is a tie into the Greenway for walking, running biking etc. The only bad part of the park is some people. Either the ones who litter when there’s a trash can 10 feet away, don’t clean up after their pets, or walk four wide on the Greenway. There is also a lot of car break ins in the middle of the day during games and such so please use caution and common sense. Do not sssume that due to the suburban setting it’s...
