Get Up and Go Kayaking - Robinson Preserve — Attraction in Bradenton

Lindsey was a great guide and very patient. The reason I am giving 3 stars is because the day and time affects the quality of the experience, which I know is not within this company's control. However, I feel this should be made more clear on the website. We had very shallow water that was murky. We didn't see a lot of wildlife, some birds and crabs. When we finally made it out to the bay, the tide was low and barely enough water for anything to swim under us. We only spent about 10 minutes in the bay and turned around back through the mangroves. Our experience was just OK. I feel it is important for other people to be aware that the water conditions greatly affect how much success you will have in observing wildlife. The fact this company asks for a 5 star review and if not, to please text them first, makes me think they are filtering...

We took a 2 hour guided tour with Lindsay (I hope I’m spelling that correctly!) and it was quite simply amazing! Lindsay was extremely knowledgeable about the area, the wildlife, and the ecosystem. I was more impressed that Lindsay is new to the area and has clearly worked extremely hard learning about everything that was then handed down to us.

I cannot say enough good things about our guide and what a really cool down to Earth person that Lindsay is. There were only 4 of us (my wife and I plus our 20yo daughter and her bf) and no question went unanswered. We would do this over again in a heartbeat! Shout out to Lindsay for a great quote that stuck with me. “Nature is RAD!” It sure is! Not sure if you can request a specific guide but I’d ask if Lindsay is available...

We had a great time exploring Robinson Preserve. Our guides Taylor, Matt and Ethan were exceptional, their knowledge and expertise added a whole other dimension to this experience that we would not have gotten without them. Definitely the high point of our trip to Florida. Truly a one with nature experience through the Mangroves. We saw a verity of aquatic life with the glass bottom kayaks and also as a bonus we saw a large number of birds. This tour also included a stop on a sandbar when we left the Mangroves and entered the gulf. Walking ankle deep on the sandbar we saw a verity of crabs, shells, and other aquatic life forms with detailed explanations by our guides. This a beautiful part of Florida that we did not expect to find. A definite add to...
