Green Springs Park is a spot to enjoy a leisurely stroll through nature, and experience a taste of natural Florida, without venturing too far from your vehicle. A covered picnic area is located near the front entrance, next to the parking lot and restrooms. More picnic tables are located next to the playground. Resting benches can be found around the spring-viewing areas and along the nature paths. The springs are alluring, for good reason, but no swimming allowed. When I visited, you could hear children playing (from the playground area) echoing throughout the immediate area, so perhaps not the most quiet destination. However, it’s pretty cool how the playground is nestled within the park with lots of tree cover and shade. I recommend bug repellent, since it started getting buggy (late March).

Great Park with easy walking paths, nice facilities and parking. The green spring is beautiful you can view it from both sides. The spring does put off a faint sulphur smell but nothing overwhelming. There are two small alligators that live in the spring. The green color is really beautiful. The other great thing about this park is if you walk or bike ride to the back it connects to a large shaded paved trail that is probably 12' wide. When you reach the trail if you go to the left it is the Spring to Spring trail which is pretty at first and then it follows the road and ultimately takes you to the Blue Springs State Park. Taking the trail to the right is the Rail Trail which is quite beautiful and shaded you can ride for miles and see lots of wildlife. I highly recommend going to this park.

Under the Nature Frame 🔲 Floridians can celebrate St Patrick's day at this place 💝. An excellent and pleasant home is available nearby Orlando. It has a slight green spring which is the beauty of this park. It is toward Dayton side next to Sanford. Ample parking space available for cars, RV, Trucks, and trailers. It started with a big space shelter and clean restroom. Multiple smalls trails are open for hiking and bicycling. Green spring has tiny turtles and gators too. Spring is not for swimming, so be careful while entering to spring side as it is profound. Many migrated birds there. I got an owl which is become a natural beauty of this park—the perfect destination for weekend and family get-togethers.

If you have never been to Green springs it is worth a visit. Totally free park right on the bike trail. It has the most beautiful emerald green sulfur spring. It honestly feels like the place all fairy tales are set. The trees over the spring are so perfect they look artificial. It is magical. There are a few small trails, lots of picnic tables. Lots of shade. A cute playground. You will not be disappointed. No swimming in the spring. Read the signs for really interesting Florida history. We go there often and have never felt unsafe but there have been some car break ins so hide valuables and lock your car. Update 2023- still a great park. ditto to evening I posted before.

The green spring is very pretty and there are some covered trails (very short) leading to the broad 'road' that can go for some miles east or west. It is perfect for cycling and running, but if looking for an interesting walk with some good stuff to see along the way, going west it is only about 5-10 minutes walk before you are alongside the road. So, we decided to head back at that point and go to a different park for a walk. There are restrooms and a pavillion close to the parking lot. I would recommend definitely for cycling but wouldn't return unless I have a bike myself.
