Kate Spade Outlet — Attraction in Land O' Lakes

I did not get to purchase the purse I was planning on buying for my Christmas present. I was in the store and found a few I liked. I asked my husband to come in and look but there was a line so he was not allowed. I understood that because that is the way of life now. But what really upset me was I walked out to him with the associate watching to tell him what I found. He said to go back in and buy it. The lady at the door refused to let me right back in and said you need to go back and wait in line. She hadn’t even let anyone else in the door yet. I walked 2 steps out the door to confirm the purchase with my husband since he couldn’t come in. I came in on Sunday (March 14th) Was greeted by a salesperson. Found a purse and matching wallet i liked. But being that I worked in retail for many years and could tell that I was being watched, I decided not to buy. I politely let the manager know that I would not be purchasing from that store due to the fact that I was being watched for no reason. I also had to explain to my son the situation being that he didn't understand why the lady followed us around. So thank you for ruining my day out with my son. Unfortunately, every time i enter this store to make a purchase i am never greeted. I always just stand there to see how long it would take to be recognized, i wasn't in my Sundays best and instead of asking if i needed assistance, i was pretty much followed and made to feel uncomfortable. When I finally made a purchase the demeanor of the associate changed and became more welcoming when she realized I was truly trying to make a purchase. 🙄🙄 I will continue to buy Kate Spade....just not at this...
