I have to admit I’m a bit disappointed. My family doesn’t fish often, but we thought this would be something we could enjoy together as a family . As we arrived this am at Marlin Quay we thought we would have someone waiting to meet us , after looking around for at least 10 minutes I addressed 2 men down at the water . One of them said which boat you looking for . We figured it out that it was with him so we got on the boat. The captain didn’t even go through proper safety if something was to happen to him or the boat , never even saw any safety gear or life jackets on the boat . I thought a little more instruction and help from the captain could have been much better . He wasn’t prepared with the proper bait or instruction for the amount of money we paid . Going fishing where the captain thinks he has to fish and hits one of his guest with a rod while casting out seems like a day on the boat with friends not paying customers. Taking the time to visit other boats and friends along the way seemed like he was having a social visit instead of doing his job. My daughter caught a flounder that would have been a keeper but he was unprepared with his net because he was on his cell phone . Not the best experience for the money , went years back and the experience was top notch but this guy was a part timer 🙄!! A captain with inexperienced crew should show guidance , we would have been more successful if he would have been more helpful . If a paying customer asks you to bring them bait and bait their hook do your job not expect them to do what you are getting paid for . It’s hard to maneuver around others on the boat when bait is needed so do your job to full potential you missed out on a...

Our family recently took a jet ski trip from Marlin Quay that left a lot to be desired. I called ahead and reserved 3 jet skis, but when we were at the dock waiting to head out, we were informed that one jet ski had broken the night before and there were only 2 available. I left my phone number when I made the reservation but for some reason no one felt the need to give us a heads up before we got there as we then had to cram 3 people on each jet ski.

We were all experienced on jet skis, but before we left our guide gave us no direction or instruction whatsoever on jet ski operation, safety, where we were going, or anything else. My most significant complaint is that on the way out to the ocean while going past the jetty, the guide (who had 2 of our riders on her craft) cut across the channel directly in front of a boat that was also headed out to the ocean. Luckily the boat was paying attention and was able to avoid a collision, but the guide never saw the near miss. Once we were in the open water riding the jet skis we had a good time, but I noticed that my fuel was very low and called that to the attention of our guide, who said that we should go back. Why the fuel levels weren't checked and topped off before we left is confusing.

Overall the marina is close to the jetty/open ocean and this could have been a great trip, but there were so many easily correctable things that ruined our family's experience and caused us to...

This is the worst operational Marina we have ever been to. We booked a charter trip on Reel Deep. Confirmed with a credit card for $1950. Confirmed again later when called to ask what to bring. Went to the Marina to see the location to the day before. Arrived at 530 am. No one was at the Marina, captain never showed. Another party arrived for the same boat at 630 am for a double booked boat. Still no captain. Marina opens after 7 am. We are told the boat engine had a problem. Neither party received a phone call. Captains phone was off all morning. He never showed up to let the booked parties know. Most unprofessional experience ever had. By the way, it was fathers day and my 65 year old father looked like a kid who missed Christmas. Don't make the same mistake, book somewhere else. My guess is they were in the bar late and turned off the...

We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon, had drinks and watched the Masters. The she crab soup and fried green beans were so delicious. The drinks were great. Will and Charlie kept our glasses full and Maddie our server made sure we had everything we needed. This place is a gem ! The view is amazing. I could sit there all day. We'll definitely be back, hopefully to watch a sunset!

My husband and I took the Happy Hour Cruise here on 8.20.22 as apart of our 10 year Anniversary celebration and it was a lot of fun. Although we didn't get the chance to dine at any of the restaurants, the area was still very nice and looked extremely entertaining. A must visit for anyone visiting the area.
