DEFINITELY WILL RECOMMEND: to anyone you won't be sorry!.... what a wonderful scenic view of nature and the n.r.g bridge its a Awesome place the staff is extremely welcoming and super friendly & helpful and they work very hard to keep the visitors center very nice & clean especially the rest rooms the gift shop is nice they have cool items in there they show like little 30 45 min nature/education videos in the theater very cool & the overlook and the picnic areas & parking lots are well kept up no litter on the ground the grass is always cut so the outside is just as nice as the inside it's a very nice clean safe wonderful friendly place but the steps are a bit challenging there's alot lol.. it's also kid & pet friendly a perfect place to get some amazing & spectacular photos/videos it's ideal place for a family gethering or a family outting or nature lovers or birdwatching ECT... grate job to the workers who works there and keep up the great job your doing we appreciate all of you so...
Read moreOn the drive from Buffalo to Hilton Head, there are only two essential stops I would recommend, and this is one of them. I remember going here when I was a kid and we used to do the drive, and now, just a few weeks ago, I did it again. It looks like they re-did the whole wooden stairway going down the gorge a bit to the lookout point. It's really beautiful. We wanted to have a picnic there as it was about our halfway point, but it was raining. So . . . we had a picnic anyway. Ha! We took our sandwiches down to the lookout point at the end, wiped off one of the benches down there, and enjoyed our little picnic nonetheless. And because of the rain, it made for a special kind of time to look out on the gorge and the massive bridge....
