Got to experience the park last night on Halloween for the first time, and let me say it was awesome! The amount of time and attention to detail the staff has poured into the various attractions is extremely impressive.
The staff is extremely respectful of boundaries and extremely friendly, even if they look a lil spooky. All the actors do a great job staying in character while not going over the top!
The side show was amazing! From fire breathing to sword swallowing, you’ll be entertained the entire time you’re in line. It might not even feel like you’re waiting!
As far as the actual haunt goes, absolutely top notch all around. I personally love all things spooky and haunted, I was thoroughly impressed by the amount of spooky and downright evil details that were put into the attractions! From classic horror movies, to some ridiculously spooky ideas, this place had it all! I found myself just stopping and taking in the scenery more than once. For a horror fan, you’ll wish you could take pictures with your phone! (Don’t be that guy tho, no phones fool.)
Our group had a range of ages as well as fright levels. If you’re like me, and love all things haunted, you’ll love the spooky scenes and evil environments! If you’re someone who frightens easily, you’ll get the spook of your life without having to worry about things going too far! It really is a place to bring the whole family.
This is a great place to bring that one friend who always talks about how brave and tough they are! See what they’re really made of!!
Make sure you get a group photo while you’re there too! Maybe even one before and one after, that way you have proof if anyone got scared...
Keep in mind that it is in a forest, not an entirely indoor haunt, so dress appropriately for the weather and wear shoes that you can get muddy! Ya might wanna opt for some good boots if you’re a runner .
From classic fair food, to an epic side show, to a downright fantastic haunt experience the likes of Gans, Craven, and Peele would approve of, this place has it ALL! You don’t wanna miss this experience, an absolute MUST for your...
Read moreWithout a speed past you wait a glorious 4-5 hours to go in .❤️ Got there before they opened and still waited that long. This also doesn’t include people cutting in front of people or people telling their buddies to join them up front. It’s so dark in some of the buildings you’re guaranteed to run into the wall. Forget being scared, you are more occupied finding out where you’re going. Twisted my ankle several times due to it being so dark you don’t know there is a drop off or that a random green stump will surprise you. I think by the time we got through most of the staff was too tired to put forth an effort to scare us. It started off with staff being scary but died pretty quick. It was almost 1 am. We got there at 7:30pm. Didn’t get started until 12 something. Once you get halfway you have to wait 30 minutes to proceed, again. At this point you loose all interest in being scared if it a. Didn’t die waiting for 4 hours or b. being more occupied finding out where you are.
Aside from this, staff was very nice. The set up is nice and it has potential. First time here and friends stated that it was better the previous year. So maybe that’s the...
Read moreBest haunted house I’ve been to in years. Thought I was going just for some festive fun since haunted houses stopped scaring me as I got older but this was actually the most scared I’ve been since I was a little kid. The set design was so realistic and well put together though, half of the time you really couldn’t tell if something was a prop or a real person. The actors were really creative with their scares and would get you even if you knew they were coming. I really like that it’s a no touch haunt because the actors were genuinely scary and didn’t just rely on grabbing people. Absolutely worth the money and the wait in line. I’d say we were in line for about an hour but it moved pretty fast. The actual haunt lasted a really long time too, probably around 45 minutes to an hour, which is what makes the experience worth it. I can’t stand haunted houses that make you stand in line for hours but only last 15 minutes. They also had haunts from previous years that I wasn’t expecting and was really excited to see since I missed them. Used to be loyal to field of screams but I’ll be coming here every year...
