Absolutely magnificent tour! My daughter and I went to Historic Downtown St. Augustine today without the rest of the family. Our intention was to take the trolley from Old Town to St. George Street to do lunch and some shopping. "Doc Holliday" was our tour conductor and by the time we made it to the 3rd stop out of the 23 offered, we had made up our minds that lunch and shopping could wait!!! We absolutely had to stay on the trolley for the hour and twenty-five minute tour due to Doc's enthusiasm, energy, and humor. He told the history in such a way that it seemed to bring it back to life....interesting enough that my 13 year old daughter insisted on not getting off at our planned stop. Me being a lover of history, art, architecture, and good story telling, she did not have to twist my arm to stay aboard. I was pleasantly surprised to see Doc peak her interest with his narration...to have a teenage girl choose to stay on a trolley tour and listen to history being told rather than shopping means Doc is top notch at what he does!! We plan to return with the other family members so they can hopefully ride with Doc and have the same fun adventure. Most definitely worth your time to stay aboard and listen, plus it's a huge bonus that you can learn where places are located if you should choose to return later, and that you can hop on and off at any of the stops along the way...very convenient for getting around the historic district without having to worry about traffic or parking. I would have given this tour a 5-star but let me tell you why I didn’t… SHOUTOUTS: But before I get into that, I’d like to shoutout the nice older gentleman that works for the trolley tours by the name of Richard. He was such a pleasure to speak with shortly. He gave all the kids stickers, and even made sure my infant baby had one. 😅 Another shoutout to Alicia!! If you get to ride the “Hot Mess Express” you’ll have too much fun while you tour. She did an amazing job. Including all the puns. 😂 REVIEW: Now, the reasoning for the lower rating is because my family & friends were discriminated against! 😤😡 (Which I posted two of the videos) I did not catch the older women’s name, but she was working the same shift as Richard on 4/29/23 approximately around noon. That old boomer had the audacity to place ALLL of the black people in the back of the trolley. My family was the first to board. She asked how many in my party. We said 9. Then proceeded to place us in the back, even after Richard flagged us to come to the front. The family behind us was also black. However, they were a family of 10. One of the ladies asked if they could sit in the front and that old bitty actually told them “NO!” Then she tried to change her tone by stating “I’m just trying to keep you guys altogether.” Then we all yelled “WE’RE NOT TOGETHER!!!” Then she said it was too late for them to move because boarding already started. That was BS! We were the first two families up and there’s not assigned seating. Everyone else was able to sit where they wanted to. As the day progressed we keep seeing black families, couples, etc on the BACK of the trolley’s. (Which I captured in the second video) We seen a third trolley like that too, but I wasn’t quick enough to capture it via video. Needless to say, she had my blood boiling all day! We came to hear about the history of the past, not be treated as if we were living in the past. However, my family and I are easy going people and we made the best of it. But that was not a pleasurable experience whatsoever. Even the kids were saddened by this. It’s definitely time that you guys do some inclusive & diversity segments when you hire your employees! The fact that we traveled all the way from Tampa to deal with that was completely absurd. This wasn’t a nice Saint Augustine welcoming at all! PARKING: Free, if you have tickets and park in the designated parking lots by Old Jail Museum. BATHROOM: located in Gator Bob’s. TICKETS: Can be purchased online & in person. Price range is around $16-$20. RIDE TIME: The full tour is 22 stops. Runtime is approximately 1hr 30mins.

Had a great time on our trolley tour this week! We had three different drivers, as we rode the trolley one time to experience the full tour, and got back off at the same place we boarded. Second time was to board back on when we decided where we wanted to get off, and third time when we were done at our stop. All of the drivers were fun, kind, and very clearly knew the history of the city. I wish I remembered all of their names, but the only one I remember was Lynn O. The bench seats are very uncomfortable after a bit, but it is bearable, and if you are getting off frequently, then you don’t notice. Pretty much all of the stops cost money to get into, but so do the parking lots for each attraction, so the trolley saves you money on parking. The only stop we did was Castillo de San Marcos, which was definitely worth the money. However, there is no clear sign for the trolley at the there, so it is difficult to know where to get back on. Loved hearing all the history and seeing all the sights without the stress of driving in an unfamiliar area. The trolley drivers truly seemed to love their jobs which made it so enjoyable! I recommend the trolley tour!

We only had one full day in St Augustine so we decided to take the trolley tour with additional attraction tickets to make the most of our time. We purchased the package that included The ghost and gravestones, Potter's wax museum, the old jail, the oldest store Museum, and the saint Augustine history Museum. There was free parking stop #2) where we purchased the tickets and boarded. This allowed us to visit all those places without having to worry about parking at each one. The lady that helped us purchase our tickets was very helpful and friendly. They have a lot of packages available so it was nice to have someone knowledgeable to give advice. The best tour trolley driver that we had during our day was Troy. He was very knowledgeable and made the tour interesting as we passed all the sites. I think this was a great way for us to get around St Augustine and see the sights. There is a lot of traffic and trying to drive to all of the sites and find parking would have been a waste of some of the little time that we had. We had a half day in St Augustine the next day and the tour allowed us to know where to go back and spend the last few hours.

We had an incredible experience with Old Town Trolley Tours in St. Augustine! Our tour guide, Kevin, was absolutely amazing—he was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and full of fascinating stories about the city’s rich history. You can tell he truly loves what he does. The tour includes 22 stops, and at each one, Kevin shared fun facts and stories before continuing with more storytelling as we rode through the charming streets of St. Augustine. It’s a fantastic way to see the city, and you can hop on and off at any stop, which made it super convenient for exploring at our own pace. We booked our tour through our hotel, and they coordinated a shuttle service with the trolley company to pick us up and drop us off—such a convenient touch! Another bonus: you can buy discounted tickets for many of the attractions along the route directly from the trolley company. We took advantage of this and visited the Oldest Jail in the U.S., which was a really cool and unique experience. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting St. Augustine—it’s a fun, relaxing, and informative way to take in the sights!
