So glad I made a first visit to the historic Phelps Mill on my drive home from northern MN a few weeks back. Located on the Otter Trail Scenic Byway outside of Fergus Falls, the Phelps Mill stands as a picturesque landmark to the history and beauty of Otter Tail County. Originally constructed in 1889, the Historic Mill Building is open for self-guided tours during the summer months. The surrounding park area provides amenities for visitors, including the upcoming Phelps Mill Arts and Crafts Festival on July 13 & 14. "Much water runs while the miller sleeps." ~ English Proverb

Picturesque and serene, Phelps Mill graces the Ottertail in spite of the turmoils of 2020. No services or exploring the mill at this time, but cudos to the park staff for keeping the grounds pristine and...
