I took my Dell laptop to them to repair a broken hinge. They told me that it was easy to do; they would just take off the back and epoxy the hinge. Thus, since it was just a case issue, I didn't prove to them when I dropped it off that it was working - big mistake. However, they called and said they couldn't boot it up and asked me to bring in my power cord. When I went it, the computer would not power up and they said that something must have happened to the mother board. By the way, it was working just fine when I took it in, but since I didn't show them that when I dropped it off, they took no responsibility. So I do not know how my mother board got damaged in their repair shop, but it didn't seem to matter to them. And the hinge repair didn't work either!
