We paid for a month in May 2016 and had a very bad experience. We will never return. Park storefronts are all empty and running down, much like a ghost town. Many full-timers, no trees, much like a parking lot with RVs jammed in close together. Sites and are all graveled, meaning dust blows when it is dry and RVs settle down in the mud if it is wet. The maintenance people are nice, but they seem to be afraid of the owner, who is apparently one of those "my way or the highway" guys. We pulled our motorhome forward into our space so we could see the pond and the birds around it in the morning. The owner had a fit the next day and made us turn it around so all we could see were the other RVs. The only grocery store is eight miles north of the park. Cameras are not only used for security, but also to spy on park visitors. We were warned by several people that we would get in trouble if we didn't keep a leash on our crippled old dog, because they would catch us on the spy cameras. Would have left the second day if we hadn't made the mistake of paying...
Read moreTraveling from state to state, we never know what we will encounter at each campground during our stays. Thankfully, Rutlader Outpost RV Park in Louisburg, Kansas turned out to be a gem of a park. In addition, the staff is helpful and works hard to make it a nice, clean...
Read moreWe stayed here 1 nite on our way to the Nascar races @ Kansas Speedway last month. Online check-in was very easy and straightforward. We have a 40' 5th wheel and needed a pull-through. We were able to reserve a spot just a couple of weeks prior. Everything was as advertised. Their spots are very level with gravel, easy full hookups with 30 & 50 amp. It appears there are a lot of contractors staying there but it was very quiet. We did not use the showers but when I went to the restroom early in the morning it was already being cleaned. Debbie was very helpful as we were approaching, we realized we would not make check-in before the office closed @ 6:00 p.m. so we called here and she prepared a package for us that we could pickup with a map with park rules and wi-fi password. The wi-fi signal was strong and we had no problems. We would definitely stay again if...
