Serena Grove 1 Apartments — Attraction in Aldine

My son moved in this weekend and as soon as we opened the door roaches were having a party in his apartment, cats were everywhere outside. He had to come stay with us at a hotel so my husband could bomb the place hisself. Thank GOD we own our own Pest Control Business, so my husband knew what to do to try to get rid of the roaches So hopefully tomorrow they will be gone. His front door look like someone used it as a punching bag. Old food was still in the garbage disposal, knats were everywhere,one of his outlets don't work, the rail to his balcony is loose. The ONLY good thing about the apartment is that it is 5 minutes from his job. I will be GLAD when his lease is up. The worst mistake he has ever made is moving over there. I couldn't even sleep at the hotel thinking a roach was crawling on me. What are my rights if my apartment has roaches in Texas? WARNING DO NO MOVE TO SERENA GROVE...I've lived in Serena Grove for a 2 yrs definitely my Worst experience ever. They will TOW resident vehicles. You can barely tell if a spot is reserved or not because they don’t repaint them meaning YOUR CAR WILL BE TOWED it’s only a matter of when. The maintenance is never done when requested. The exit and entrance gate is always broke. Overall the building is under bad management. Anyone saying they had the best living in this apt is all cap. They break into your car and mailbox. They will tow resident vehicles, they don’t give out visitor passes for parking as they should to avoid towing cars. The maintenance is never done when requested. The kitchen light has went out and no one ever came to replace the long bulb. Main toilet always clogged never replaced after Maintenance said they would replace. My closet floor somehow was drinched in water so my belongings were water damaged along with the damaged carpet that they tried to reinstall. Mold in both bathrooms.
