Tennant Lake Fragrance Garden — Attraction in Contiguous United States

Tennant Lake is next to Hovander Homestead Park and is linked by both a road and a walking trail. It is adjacent to the Nooksack River and Tennant Lake. Its main feature is the fragrance garden easily accessible to those in wheelchairs or pushing strollers. The garden contains both flowers and herbs and can be enjoyed by those with different abilities and limitations. This is my favorite place to bring visitors, and one of my favorite places to visit in Whatcom County. The views of the surrounding area and of Mt. Baker are stunning! The garden itself is lush, smells heavenly, and has nice flat, wide walkways which are easy to navigate. The beds are mostly raised. It's different every time, as what's blooming varies throughout the year. It's such a relaxing place to visit. There's plenty of parking, including disabled spots. The flowers and the grounds are well kept which makes for an enjoyable experience while admiring the plants.
