This is the Texas Welcome Center and Rest stop. Employees in the Welcome center were cheerful and provided helpful information about things to do in the state. Also, there's a large carving of the state in the parking lot that's a fun photo-op. The restrooms were very clean. Around back, there's a smallish restaurant. The rest areas are fantastic. They get a bit noisy if you do an overnight stay, but that's to be expected. They are beautiful and fun to explore. I'm used to CA stuff, so this was a welcome treat.
