Parking is across the street. Access is NOT CROSSING HIGHWAY 101! There is an Official path under the bridge/overpass that is accessed from the NE corner of the parking lot. This is the State Park maintained trail. Go behind the Port Orford sign. Please do not cross the highway this is very dangerous as logging trucks haul coming down both hills. Be safe not stupid.

Neighborhood watch will call State Troopers for any and all overnight stays.
It's a good beach for families. Pack out all trash and garbage! There are no restrooms or garage service. Please use Visitors Center 1 mi north for bathrooms! Do not use the dunes or side of parking lot for human waste as dogs and wildlife will get into it! Locals are protective of this spot, please take care of it and be respectful or choose another location if you can't handle yourself. No drones! Maintain command of any off leash dogs.
