Westmoreland Athletic Complex — Attraction in Cornelius

Our grandkids play travel ball. So we go to all the parks in our area. Westmoreland Athletic Complex is such a nice facility. The playgrounds are great for the little ones. They have a nice concessions and plenty if restrooms. The pictures are of a softball tournament last Saturday. It was pink out day and everyone participates on our teams. Even the coaches. ( My son( In the pink cowgirl gat) , daughter in law and her Dad ). Side note:: my 13 y o granddaughters team won the championship Saturday. With our 10 y o granddaughters team came in second. We were there for a baseball tournament and it was probably one of my more favorite complexes we played at. They had four fields all surrounding the bathrooms and concessions. The concessions had a large menu with fair pricing. They had large clean bathrooms with many stalls. The playground was very close. The only downside was that the concrete between some Fields were not level and sloped, which could make it difficult for handicap citizens. There were nice batting cages as well. The ball fields are nice. The only problem I have is you build a facility with 4 ballfields. That's 8 teams playing and their family members, 8 teams waiting to play next games. Why just have one restroom with 4 stalls. And small concessions with 2 lines. You have hundreds of people in attendance at any given time also being charged to come into the games. And only have access to 4 restroom stalls, and standing in line at least 30 minutes...
