Less than equipped "staff". I use the word "staff" very loosly. They're a bunch of 17-19 year old's who could care less about people and our safety. One kid running the "lift" told my 5 1/2 year old to "HURRY UP". I quickly put a stop to that and got a half-assed apology. The restaurant I wouldn't even bother. ONE waitress for the entire floor. We waited over an hour and a half to get our food, and she clearly hated her job. At one point I had to go to the bar and request refills. Half our food came out cold and also came out plate by plate. Half the table was done by the time the rest go theirs. By late afternoon the hill was a sheet of ice, they were less than equipped with enough tubes. At one point it was well over 45 minutes to slide ONE hill. We saw several people FLY past the fence, one gashed his face open, the other broke a sign in HALF. Clearly these folks need to SHUT. IT. DOWN. They were down to 5 lanes because they didn't have enough rubber mats to slow people down. They also forced customers to STEAL tubes from the back of the line and then left those to fend for themselves because they didn't have enough tubes to go around. Don't sell that many tickets if you don't have enough tubes to go around! At Camelback they remove the plastic bottoms to slow the tubes down, can't they do that here so people can enjoy the ride and not be afraid for their safety? They let people go down the hill when it's not even clear! I said, IT'S NOT CLEAR and the KID says, it's ok you can go. I don't think so idiot. READ the reviews people, and trust us when we tell you this is a dangerous place and the staff doesn't care one bit. On our last run, we missed the rubber mats completely and slammed into the padding on the fence. Stunned me and my 5 1/2 year old. My niece, the same thing happened on the next lane over. This place is terrible, I can't say it enough. Lastly, the lift. The lift cable...OMG. They actually posted a sign that says to hold onto the cable to prevent it from touching you. Are you serious? Why is that even a thing to worry about?! At the top, the staff says "ROLL OFF". Excuse me? You literally roll out onto a thin piece of astro-turf. If you have bad knees or issues moving around that low to the ground, don't do it. SAVE YOUR MONEY and skip this...

We visited on 2/9 for our sons 12th birthday. Our whole party was 17 people!!!!! We got less than half our tubing time in because of a very scary accident ((not in our party)). We were not compensated for anything after they closed the hill. The restaurant experience was absolutely awful, that was 17 people who also paid for meals and had awful service. We had hoped for a fun night. When an accident happens you expect them to be trained in being quick at dialing 911 at least, not asking 75 times if they should when someone lays there unconscious breaking the 2 x 6 fence with their head. That all happened because of the “fast conditions” and lack of enough equipment. They didn’t have the hill blocked at the top properly, he went down the hill, and no pillows to stop him at the bottom. A very unfortunate event. Thankful for my husband and friend who stayed with the person until the ambulance arrived along with another guy that came from the top of the hill.

I sit here out $150 for tubing plus food and an experience that was just awful. No one was sympathetic and I’ve attempted many times to reach out to them thinking they’d do the right thing. They have my address and phone number and I have received nothing. Will not be back, I wouldn’t trust them in any chance of an emergency, beware!!!! My kids lives are more important than to risk something tragic like that happening to one of us. I feel awful for the person who suffered the pain that night and may still be. If you read this, I hope you are ok. 😓 The vision still haunts me and my kids.

Contact me for more info if you’d like. Our whole party was a witness and never contacted for our side of everything. Half of our party was at the top of the hill and half watched it from the bottom waiting for our others to come down. A VERY...

Today we went to Iron valley after purchasing a Groupon. Never been to the place. We are 2 adults and a 5 yearold. After getting our tickets and tubes we made our way to the top of the hill. We thought it would be similar to Ski round top where you can go down holding on to someone else's tube. Our 5 yr old isn't that heavy but they said he'd be fine going down alone. The 1st trip down he got stuck but luckily my partner was able to stop and help him. However, the 2nd teip down we weren't so lucky. he got stuck again and this time alone. We stood at the bottom watching as no one attempted to help him. We were never given instructions before going down so he had no clue what to do as it was only his 2nd time tubing. The staff at the bottom were talking about Kobe Bryant and not doing anything at all. No one can hear them at the top. So we stood there shouting up at him to help. Meanwhile, your teenage staffs only concern was the 2 adults getting behind the cones. He was in tears when he finally made it down and by the time we made it to the belt to take us up, you had more young staff yelling about cones and not our child being stuck. One even stated he was a manager. It is unacceptable to treat customers like that. It'll be our 1st and last time ever coming there. We also...

DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO ANY NEGATIVE REVIEWS HERE!! We went this past week to PA and we went to 3 places to do snow tubing with the family. Summarizing: Camelback is a waste of money!! Rude staff and you go down slower than a camel walks! Not fun!! Plus, too crowded. Shawnee Mt. was OK. But, you spend more time waiting to go down and they control the crowd so much that it’s not fun by the time you get your turn. But Iron Valley snow tubing takes snow tubing to another level!!! We couldn’t even video going down the slopes because it’s so fast!! We had soooo much fun!! We did the last 2 hrs of the day! And totally recommend doing that because we had the entire place to ourselves! No wait, no rude staff, everyone is super nice here and they use the good tubes with plastic on the bottom. Contrary of camelback, for being a big resort their tubes were not good quality that’s one of the reasons you go down the slopes a mile per hour. We will definitely come back to Iron Valley again!!! One of the cheapest admission and more bang for your buck because you can go way too many times in 2 hrs! And nobody is rushing you or yelling at you “don’t do this, don’t do that” is all fun and more fun!!! ❤️ our favorite spot in PA!!!!

We went here on a Thursday during the Christmas break, and it was a blast. The hill itself was much larger than I anticipated, and it was fast to start the day, with air bags (kind of looked like big beanbag chairs) and an additional barrier further out for the faster rides. The tube lift was basically the same type of lift from a ski hill's bunny slope and worked well enough, although rolling off at the top was always a bit awkward. It's also quite walkable, although long, so you can always skip around the lift line. The mid-afternoon sun melted the lanes from an angle, so it led to a lot of spinning, which some people love and some people (my daughter) don't, so I'd try to get there early or after sunset for the fastest riding. I saw many reviews saying that the staff were rude, etc., but I didn't have any problems. They did have a lot of young people working, which can sometimes lead to the issues mentioned in other reviews, but everyone that we interacted with regardless of age was friendly and helpful, from checking in and getting the tube to the people at the top of the hill and the lift. All in all, we had a great time, and I would definitely go back when I"m in the area again.

It was worth the hour and 40 minute drive. They have several lanes to ride down with an electric lift to take you back to the top. All of the staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. My one critique would be the snack bar. The chicken fingers & fries that my daughter bought were hard to swallow. Literally they must have cooked them and had them sitting under the heat lamp for hours.
