2006 through 2009 … the years that brought me to this park back then, when my daughter and son played for club soccer. This past Sunday was the first time I had returned to Coronado Cays Park. This time, it was for pickleball practice.
The pickleball courts were packed around the time we arrived (230 pm). Good thing my friend reserved a week prior: $20 for 2 hours. On opposite note, from the looks of the park’s field, not a whole lot of action going on. All I saw was a huge space of grass area (so much of it) and random people walking by on the sidewalk.
As court time ended, I head towards my car that was parked across the street. I look back at the park thinking, it’s still nice park 👍🏼

Read moreMy cousin discovered this as a great place to fly our drones. It is an area between 2 no flight zones. We came here to check it out, and sure enough, he was right. We were able to get some good shots of the Coronado Cays, Silver Strand State Beach, and many shots over the beach/ocean. The park itself looked very nice as well. Read moreMy kids love this park and have been coming for years. Watch out if your children are scared of big dogs, they will just come right up on you. And I have come across dog owners here are pretty arrogant. They feel that the park is only for dogs and is a dog run so no leash is needed.. As a former dog owner, if you dog listens when you cal it you don’t need a leash. Otherwise no one wants a strange dog slobbering in your toddlers face while they enjoy the actual side of the park for...
