A Hidden Gem in Corpus! South Bay Park is one of those underrated spots that locals know about, but tourists probably miss. It's got a peaceful vibe with open green space, a walking trail, a couple basketball hoops, a playground for the kids, and—my favorite part—a beautiful view of the bay. The breeze off the water and the palms swaying make it feel like a secret coastal escape. Great place to clear your head, walk the dog, or just sit and watch the water. It’s clean, not too crowded, and has a few benches if you just want to post up and chill. Would love to see the city invest a bit more in the fencing and signage, but overall, it’s a chill spot worth visiting.

This was a fairly large park right on the shoreline. There is a relatively new playground for kids and plenty of manicured grass and room to spread out for various activities. The small parking lot was bumpy and muddy, so you'll likely have to park in front of a house or on the side of the street. The view of the Gulf is nice, the sidewalks are well maintained, and there is an area next to the flagpole that would be great for setting up events with a large cement foundation. There are a few sitting areas along the way and overall great space for a park among many smaller ones.

Great place to relax, kick back, and enjoy the view. Also a great little hideaway to get a little fishing action in. Didn't see any signs posting a curfew, but I could be mistaken. It could have easily been overlooked. Has a walking trail or sidewalk as well as benches that overlook the water. All in all, the scenery and seclusion are what piqued my interest.

I recently discovered this park with my two toddlers this morning after getting bored of the playgrounds in Southside. Great view of the water, serious hidden gem that has high potential. It looks like it once was a well kept area but is definitely getting run down. The playground was very dirty and didn’t look like it had any maintenance. The field between the playground and the water is awesome for littles wanting to run around MINUS the fact that there are some seriously dangerous hidden holes in the grass that you could easily break an ankle or lose a child in. It would be awesome if the city put in some more maintenance and took care of this place better because it was really nice and could be...

It is okay for kids to play and dogs to run around. There is a playground area with a tarp over it and a padded floor. The basketball court needs renovations. A picnic table is available, by the water, but not tarp, pergola, or gazebo is available for shade or to block rain. There is a concrete area by the water that is fenced off and has big holes and cracks. Doggie bags are available to clean up after your dog while walking them. The grass is not well maintained. Benches with covers need replacing. The sidewalk that wraps around the park is not even and has cracks. It is too bad that the city council or county officials dont care...
