Mansion Royal — Attraction in Corpus Christi

We celebrated a quinceanera/sweet 16 last weekend for my daughters, and I was very disappointed with the service. I had more people rsvp, so I had to order more food. A lot of them did not show up. My husband asked the coordinator about the leftover plates, and if they could pack them up for us. He said they couldn't it was already put away, and they were going to donate it. I think that was very wrong, that they didn't ask us what we wanted to do with the extra plates, they took it upon themselves to decide what to do with the food we payed for. We had a lot of people from out of town, and they were hungry after the event, I could have given them the extra food, instead of them having to go and pay for something to eat. The venue was hot, and I kept looking for the coordinator, and couldn't find him anywhere. I had to tell the bar tender to let him know to turn down the air. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I had someone call and tell me they wanted to make an event there, I told them go somewhere else. Me and my husband had our wedding here and everything turned out great! The staff is very professional and welcoming. They have a bunch of variety of decorations to choose from and our wedding night was absolutely stunning! The dinner was very tasty and they actually have a tasting where you can choose what selections you want to be served for your wedding day. The staff is very prompt when you have a concern or question. They also provide a in house DJ to serve on your wedding day. What more can you ask for? This past weekend we celebrated the union of my son and new daughter in holy matrimony. And the only place we knew that was perfect to help us do this was the Mansion Royal. From the first meeting with management to the very end the night, we were treated to most courteous, professional service one could only imagine. All employees attended to our every need without hesitation, making all our guests have a memorable evening. The food was delicious. The decorating was out of this world and I could have it no other way.
