Backbone Trailhead — Attraction in Cottonwood

Lovely little trail to do a 5km walk and watch the sunset (which is what we did). There was loose gravel which could cause you to lose your footing so be cautious of this. We found no creatures lurking about except the odd bird and dogs barking in the distance. Mooing of the occasional cow. There were some prickly trees (not cacti) who were quite sharp on contact but otherwise not a big deal.

we used all trails to navigate and we almost got lost in the dry creek bed area as it’s not exactly clear.
