West Covina: Perfect Park for Summer Family Walks with Shade Trails

I've been coming to this hidden little park for over 25 years. I've done it all and seen it happen here. There is plenty of shade and easy walking paths. It's a great place to have an picnic but tables and chairs are few. Bring a blanket and enjoy the serenity with a lover but beware due to its unique location you here the roar from the freeway and local traffic. Parking is not the best and the local businesses are not very accommodating. Please pic up after your pets and don't forget to have them spayed or neutered.

A very rare real size replica (carved out by artisans from original tuff-stone) of an Olmec head from Veracruz Mexico. Best sculpture of Covina? Highly probably A unique highlight of Covina

Its like a lil park thats hidden. I dont think many people know its there. Its like going to the park in the woods, if u like going to a park thats more on the private side and not alot of people this is where to go. It doesnt have bathrooms but it has a playground for kids but no swings. It reminds me of going hiking has a lil bridge but unfortunately theres no water, looks like it used to have a water path like a tiny river. Its very beautiful but there is one bad side about it...its next to Vanllee hotel and there's a lot of wierdos who wander around and are camped around the back where the lil hiking trail leads to behind buildings with a parking lot. I wouldnt recommend going when its dark, its actually kinda scary and stay where the playground is during the day. Like i said no one is usually there when i go despite the wierdos in the back and i like the privacy. I guess its kind of a lonely park but has...

There are several picnic benches within earshot of the small playground that will keep your kids busy for at least an hour before they start trying to explore the washout raveen that makes them feel like they are on an adventure that keeps them busy for another hour or so. People also bring their dogs but keep them leashed and respectfully pick up after them. There are no...
