It was my first time trying temple bar. I was seated very quickly at the bar the bartender (Willy) was very prompt and courteous with his service he answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable about the menu. I got the KBBQ tacos, chips and guacamole, and the Cabo roll which came with a side of chorizo mashed potatoes. The KBBQ tacos were very good I would definitely order them again. The guacamole was OK, I guess. it didn’t really have any flavor to it which was a major bummer. It kind of just tastes like mashed Avacados. The Cabo roll was interesting. I definitely understand that they are attempting something that most people would not consider trying, so I applaud them on their creativity. The sauce on the Cabo roll was good, but the roll itself was missing something. Perhaps the beef needed to be seasoned, I’m not sure but it definitely was definitely missing the flavor I was expecting. The chorizo mashed potatoes were good though. I would return.

Exactly what I was searching for... bar... food and music dance floor Bar was great - drinks galore and specials all night The food was available all night, and the plates were big delicious and quickly served The music was catered from old school to modern roc to banda...all kinds of music with A good-sized dance floor Not too busy! And my date loved it! Parking is ample..freeway is right next door , safe, clean, and fun

Visit Date & Time: We visited on Sunday, July 6, 2025, around 1:12 p.m. and dined indoors.

Atmosphere & Seating: Temple Bar Urban Eats has a chill, party-themed vibe that really pops. There are various seating options, and we chose a large wood table that was comfortable and spacious.

Cuisine: Mexican food with flavorful, hearty options

Drinks: My wife enjoyed a Cantaritos served in a whiskey glass, made with El Jimador Reposado Tequila, Squirt, lime, grapefruit, and orange juices, garnished with an orange wedge and Tajín — refreshing and well-balanced. I had a Michelada with Modelo Especial; the spicy, tangy mix was perfect for a hot summer day.

Food: I ordered the "Temple ChiLaquiles" — fresh-cut tortilla chips with cheddar and jack cheeses smothered in green sauce, topped with a sunny side up fried egg, and served with beans and papas with chorizo. The chilaquiles and chorizo with papas were delicious, though the beans could use some improvement as their flavor was off.

My wife had "The Taste of Three," featuring three eggs cooked any style, three strips of bacon, and three sausage links, accompanied by their tasty chorizo and papas.

Our daughter tried "The Grand Chili Burger," which came with crispy, well-seasoned fries. The burger itself was flavorful and satisfying.

Presentation: All dishes and drinks were presented beautifully, enhancing the overall experience.

Overall Impression: Temple Urban offers a lively atmosphere, friendly service, and flavorful Mexican dishes. While the beans could be improved, the quality of the other dishes and drinks makes it a spot worth...

Durning the week I made reservations for the VIP section for 11am a few of my party was already there the rest were on there way half way of eating our buffet a tall rude man comes to my table and says I'm moving you to a 4 seat because your party isn't here yet and I have to accommodate people coming in now without reservations he than began to touch our drinks and another lady name Lilly right behind him wrapping our cellphones glasses and touching our items that didn't belong to them and start the move the man later discovering he was the owner . (Ron). Was very unperfessional rude and was practically raising his voice at me because he said you need to move. He has no management skills your waitresses are rude not attentive to customer needs brought dule wine which was flat a fuzz water that was suppose to be sprite soda tasted like water we had to deal with rude and mad faces from your waitresses... that we had to g9 to yh3 bar to get our drinks. Our tip was added to our bill . Which we had bad service that those girls deserved to get $1.00. We have better service at MCDOALDS.. and that's a drive thru sit down resturant.. I will never go back and I'll make sure that people on tictoc and facebook don't ever go there to have any parties . Or just to hang out. I'm a creative editorial who does videos and I was very disappointed in your owner Ron and your uneducated...

Unfortunately this bar was so disappointing. As soon as we approached the door someone approaches my husband saying, “you can’t go in with your hat”. They said it nicely, however we walk in and right away they tell us again and this time they weren’t as polite. My husband didn’t mind taking off the hat it was the way they came about it. We were evites of our friend the DJ. Of the that night. As we sit down thinking we’re going to have a good time someone approaches us again and says”you need to take your hat to your car”. At this point my husband was over it. I totally understand policy’s and my husband is a dj as well therefore we know certain rules. But not like this, not cool! We’re from LA so it was quite a drive, but we’re easy going party animals. Trying new bars are always on our bucket list. This bar certainly were not coming back. Atmosphere seemed cool but they kept giving us that look! Sometimes it’s not what’s being said it’s the way you...
