My two daughters and I visited on Smithsonian's Free Museum Day. I enjoy history and enjoyed reading a number of signs and displays covering various aspects of local history.
My children were fascinated by some of the exhibits (the model city and trains on the first level were a highlight), but especially by the child-friendly activities to be found on each floor.
