Such a beautiful place to walk or take your children to play. There are 2 or 3 play areas. With slides & play areas. They also have restrooms, grills & a couple shelter areas, a tennis court, basketball court & baseball/soccor fields. You can fish along the creek, which goes from one end all the way down to the other side of the park. There's 3 different trails you can walk. We walk our dog here. Just remember to Always keep your dog on a leash bc even if your dog is friendly, it may run up to a dog who isn't friendly & then there's a problem. Some people & children may be afraid of dogs as well. You are protecting your dog, people & other dogs.

I went for the End of the Summer picnic from 4 to 7 through the Kenton County Library. They had free inflatables for the kids, free Kona Ice, free face paintings, free tye dye- you just had to bring your own tshirt. They did have some free bandannas that we were able to tye dye. They also had food trucks but you had to buy your own food. They also did a presentation from a local Karate School that was really neat! Overall it was a great place to bring your family!

It’s a pretty nice park. Plenty of trails for walking, a playground for small children, picnic areas, and fields for soccer and flag football. I really think the restrooms need to be officially opened closer to the beginning of April since there are families with small children playing sports. I had to take my 3 year old to pee by the creek because we were locked out of the potty.

A nice park. It seems it would be a good place for the kids so long as you are aware of some deep water in Bank Lick Creek which runs through the center of the park. There is a playground (swings, climbing equipment, etc). There are also soccer fields. Several nice bridges are situated on walking paths. Paths are concrete or paved for the most part. The back half of the park (crossing Bank Lick Creek) doesn't have much other than some walking paths and an area with benches. The back part has many trees, cut grass, and a wonderful view of the creek. The front side has soccer fields, playground, picnic shelter, and picnic tables. The road going through the park is a one way. Many people were walking their dogs, so I am guessing it's dog friendly (be sure to pick up after your pet). The restrooms located at the shelter had a sign saying closed until April 15, however they had some port-o-pottys located nearby. I had a very enjoyable walk, followed by playing my guitar. Park...

Well I'm sure that it's been noted before now but the dog park is gone. I hadn't been over here for quite sometime so I have no idea how long it's been closed. I was still able to allow my dog to run around off leash without fear of him getting into trouble. There are vast open spaces, fields of well maintained grass and large mature trees that provide much needed shade on a hot day. The creek was low, no surprise for the middle of august. I'd be careful getting into the water though as its always been kinda foul. The soccer and baseball fields are in good shape and overall it would appear as though everything is being maintained well. The bathrooms are pretty standard for a public place, kinda stinky but stocked with the appropriate toiletries one would hope for should they need to use them. Aside from the missing corralled dog areas, all seems to be as it always has been. It's a nice little park to take a mid...
