
As someone who has been a member of various gyms throughout the years, I can confidently say that Fort Wright CrossFit is hands down the best gym I have ever been a part of. From the moment you walk in the door, the community and energy is palpable, and everyone, from the coaches to the other members are incredibly friendly and welcoming.
The coaches at Fort Wright CrossFit are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and supportive. They prioritize proper form and technique above all else and personalize workouts to suit each member's fitness level and goals. I always feel safe during workouts because the coaches are so attentive and make sure that every member is performing the exercises correctly.
The facilities are top-notch, and there's no shortage of equipment to ensure that every workout is challenging and varied. The gym is clean, spacious, and bright, with plenty of space to move around and socialize before and after classes.
Most importantly, the community at Fort Wright CrossFit is incredible. The members are incredibly supportive, which creates an environment that promotes growth, challenge, and positive change. The variety of classes ensures that there is something for everyone, from beginners to advanced athletes, and the workouts are always challenging and fun.

At 32 years old and freshly recovering from a car accident that should have killed me, I was far from 'fit' but didn't realize just HOW far from fit I was. It only took a few classes to enlighten me. Fast forward 12 months and I was bigger, faster, stronger than I had ever been and with more capacity than ever as well. But then life happened, my schedule changed and what I thought would be a busy summer at work keeping me from the gym I had grown to love turned out to be 18 months. The. Worst. Eighteen. Months. Ever. With all of my previous gains shrunk (and my waistband grown) I finally made the decision that my health and fitness was more important than sleep. I re-joined in March of 2018 with the 5am class in my sights. Coach Liz (and total bad a$$ grandma) knows her stuff and doesn't let anyone slack off or sandbag. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable about everything CrossFit-related. The owners, Kyle and Stephanie, are the kindest people I have ever met and will do everything in their power to ensure your experience is worthwhile. The programming is FANTASTIC. There isnāt any competitive pressure to be as good as the fittest in the gym - but if you want to get there you will have hundreds of people to support you and cheer you. There is an in-house nutritionist who really knows her stuff - all of which is evident in the many folks who have lost weight, improved performance, etc. The facility is brand new, plenty of equipment for large classes and TONS of class times to accommodate a long commute/busy work schedule/kids.
