Tipton County Museum — Attraction in Covington

This place is so awesome! I'm so sorry I didn't get the two ladies names but it was the director and archivist who made our visit so special.

I wanted to get pictures, but I was so mesmerized by the stories the archivists was telling us that I completely forgot and just enjoyed learning all the history she was willing to share.

This place has a lot of exhibits for having a small space. The exhibit items and info range from different wars, items from a different era, and different types of plants, animals and rocks. They also have a nature trail, and monuments listing names of soldiers from the are that servered in different wars. There's a little gift shop were they sell local...

My friends and I attended one of the game nights. We had a blast! I loved how family-oriented it was. The museum was filled with many different historical antiquities. Next time, I hope to spend more time browsing...
