Scary acres or Factory of Terror? Let me know which one better #rhodeisland #hauntedhouse #fypシ゚viral #providenceri #halloween

Shady, lying business that refuses to answer customers. - Lies to customers (see screenshots and below review). - No working email. The one of their website is unable to receive emails. - They don't answer phone calls or social media messages. - Half-working website with many dead links. - Multiple identical Facebook accounts. - No refunds no matter what. My group and I planned to go. It was pouring rain, yet, Scary Acres denied it was raining at all, and said they're open (see screenshots). I messaged them, and after several hours of being left on 'read', a few minutes before my tickets were due, they said I could purchase ticket insurance without actually saying how (you can't buy insurance by itself). This is not how you treat customers.

My friend group and I were pleasantly surprised with Scary Acres! The hayride at the beginning was fun, but the best part was most definitely walking through the corn field. One thing about haunted attractions is that you can run into the issue of other groups catching up to you or the other way around, but Scary Acres paced the groups out well so we never ran into anyone except the scares (and a lone security guard) during our trek! The atmosphere and sets were really well done – it was an enjoyable time with a few great scares thrown in! Kudos to the whole team, great job this year!

There weren’t many actors and it wasn’t very scary (which was expected and fine- I know things have been tough since covid). My group wasn’t going to scary acres to get so scared that we peed or anything like that, and we weren’t expecting tons of scarers, but we did expect to have fun. Unfortunately, we didn’t, and we very well could have, had it not been for the incredibly rude workers who ruined the night for us. Like I said before we came with the intention of having a fun night out and to reminisce back to when Scary Acres used to be “THE” Halloween attraction in the area (which is a title I still hope it might reclaim soon). However, after waiting in line respectfully for about 15 minutes listening to the 17 year old drone on about the rules of the corn maze, my group began to talk to one another, as at that point we had already heard the rules several times, without our line moving forward.

The teenager in charge of the lines yelled at my group of 4 adults for speaking to one another and told us, specifically, if we break the rules we get no second chances. I could have even brushed this off had we not already heard the rules several times- but the expectation for us to be completely silent during our long wait is ridiculous and the reaction to adults speaking softly to each other was disrespectful.

Then came the second line worker, who could probably have been replaced with a felon and the felon would have been more charming. Not even sure I want to get into this interaction. It was just nasty- and again we waited in line as groups who arrived after us were let into the maze.

It stinks that we spent money on this experience knowing that the quality has decreased, but hoping we could have a fun night, and just being entirely let down and disrespected by the staff. Wont be returning but I wish Scary Acres...

I drove over an hour last night in order to have fun, as well as be scared. This is the 4th "haunted"/"scary" attraction we have been to in the last month, it was the most expensive and by far the worst. We didn't get what we paid for. There were maybe 6 actors altogether throughout the 3 attractions and almost all of the workers we had encountered were rude. None of the actors were passionate about what they were doing, and half of them weren't even dressed in costumes. The kid with the chainsaw was in crocs, basketball shorts, and a nike t-shirt.. no mask? They should really have the 17-year-old kid in charge of the corn maze put his energy elsewhere. He didn't even have on a costume and droned on for what felt like 15 minutes about the rules of the corn maze. It's simple, they don't touch us and we don't touch them and if you do adios. All the other groups we were with were adults, not children. There were barely any actors in the maze, and the ones that were didn't put any effort into scaring. I know numerous individuals that have gone in the past, and they had nothing but good things to say about Scary Acres.. I wish I could say the same. We paid $3 for a donut that was cold and stale and the worker that gave it to us was reluctant to give us our $2 in change back. Scary Acres? more like...

Have been coming to scary acres almost every year and never had a problem, always a good time. I recently went in September this year on the second day it opened, and it was great lots of actors and fun! I went again with some friends and family last night October 22 and it was horrible, we waited in line for over 2 hrs, which is understandable seeing that it was the week before Halloween. When we got to the hayride it stopped probably 4 times, there were 3 actors who actually got on the ride and then it was over. The ride took about 10 minutes. Very disappointing compared to the first time we went when there was many actors and stops along the way. We then got to the maze and that was no better we walked through the maze in 10 minutes and saw about 6 actors throughout the whole maze. Many of them were just sitting or standing around I understand that it was late but this is what you signed up for and what you are getting paid to do. After, we asked them why there was no one there and they said a lot of people had called out for the night. Which was strange to me but after we got back to the main lot all the vendors were closed and the worker said we had to go straight back to our cars. Not a fun night ended up leaving around 1 am, very disappointed and...
