A very unique and beautiful tree. As I’ve explored the redwoods with my family this week I’ve found this one to be my favorite.

Located just 2-3 minutes from the side of the road is the unique “tree” really made up of four trees woven into one. The middle tree is remarkably flat trunked and twisted dramatically through the others.

We brought our young children and retired parents, the walk was short and easy for all. My youngest declared it “the best tree ever”, and I’m inclined to agree. I was also impressed that the tree was interesting enough to leave such an impression on them.

Amazing tree merging/formation truly resembling a corkscrew. It is very easy to miss though. There are no signs going north and only a very small one going south. The parking lots is also very small. Once there there is a small path that you can follow to see the tree, which is pretty impressive. There are also other things to see here such as trees covered with moss and a meadow. It is...

What a cool tree to go see! It is two trees that grew in the form of a corkscrew. Or it's one tree split in half I can't tell. Either way, it's awesome and such a great experience to see. Definitely recommend stopping if you can.
