Lotton Art Glass Gallery & Studios — Attraction in Crete

I wish I could give two separate ratings. The glass work is pure artistry, even with the loss a few months ago of the grand master Charles Litton. He taught his students well, and their works are displayed and sold in the gift shop. Everyone respected the posted masking requirements. Five stars.

However, entering the actual furnace area where work is being performed was a nightmare. Not one of the artists was masked and neither were any other visitors. Without Charles the vibe was not the same, and I doubt we will be...

They are amazing! I reached out to them about doing an appraisal on a lamp my father bought from them in 1997. They did a great job with the appraisal and then even offered to help me get the lights inside the base of the lamp working again. I sent the lamp out to them and for a fee they updated the electrical sockets and wiring inside the base and made it easier for me to change the lights myself in the future! Amazing...

I want to thank Kellie for taking the time yesterday to show my daughter and I the different unique pieces of art glass in the gallery. The showroom is full of indescribable museum quality art glass. It was such a pleasure seeing fantastic work- such unique beauty of the pieces. I can't describe it- You want to check it out for yourself. I will definitely be back and hope to spread the word!
