We rated this museum 4 stars because of a wonderful experience with a crabber named Tim Howard. The museum is small, but has a lot of information about the oyster and crabbing industries. My husband and I were asking each other about tongs that are used by the oystermen, when Tim walked by and asked if we had any questions? We learned so much about the crabbing and oyster industries from Tim:-). He took us to a shanty and explained everything in detail. Read moreWe were there during a commerative boating event on 7/29/17. They had historic 'buy' boats. The boats that would bring in the freshly caught seafood that everyone would buy. They were docked behind the museum and you could tour them. The museum showed the history of Crisfield and how part of the town was literally built on oyster shells.
