Awesome spot , must stop by ! And it's FREE!!
Saw a sign driving back to Dallas on an unplanned trip . Decided to stop and check this place out. I'm a car person and the small collection of cars here is beautiful with details of every vehicle.
Baseball fan ? Then you'd like it here also ! The upstairs is all baseball history. I don't know much, but I recognize names like Babe Ruth and many others . They also have stuff for the Rangers.
The staff was supper friendly. The restrooms were clean and were also automotive themes.
The gift shop is pretty nice a lot of it is free, believe it or not. Many books are free for kids or adults.
Shirts and hats and some stickers are not, but every sale is donated back to the museum.

Great baseball memorabilia from 3 past Texas Ranger All-Stars/Hall of Famers highlight the exhibits which include items from Babe Ruth, Joe DiMaggio, Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams, and many more.
I passed through town a number of times, but unfortunately when they weren't open. Then I happened to find it open on my latest trip passing through town and so very glad I stopped. I highly recommend this place and will return specifically; making this the...

We finally found a day to have a 3 hour road trip to visit Woody's Museum and it was worth the drive!!! I am not a classic car or baseball guru, but I thoroughly enjoyed sharing this experience with my father who does love old cars & baseball!! The caliber of this museum is right up there with the Smithsonian! Every detail of the museum from the floor to the beautiful ceiling and from the front door back to the bathrooms is top-notch. Be sure to check the bathrooms out. Plan a trip to visit Woody's Classic Car & Baseball museum in Cross Plains! The museum...
