Awesome spot , must stop by ! And it's FREE!!

Saw a sign driving back to Dallas on an unplanned trip . Decided to stop and check this place out. I'm a car person and the small collection of cars here is beautiful with details of every vehicle.

Baseball fan ? Then you'd like it here also ! The upstairs is all baseball history. I don't know much, but I recognize names like Babe Ruth and many others . They also have stuff for the Rangers.

The staff was supper friendly. The restrooms were clean and were also automotive themes.

The gift shop is pretty nice a lot of it is free, believe it or not. Many books are free for kids or adults.

Shirts and hats and some stickers are not, but every sale is donated back to the museum.

While we were here we met the ladies that had the buick lasaber on display, they promoted their foundation for charity hence why the cars there and modified for racing to raise money for their foundation.

In may there will be a car show there so I may swing back by again and...

Wow! What a gem! I've been to number of car museums; many have more cars; many have more diorama-type displays... But, none have such polished and like-new cars! Not a speck of dust on the cars on the floor; immaculate. When you first walk in and see a ceiling that is bright and mimics a pretty blue sky with white puffy clouds, you feel you're actually outdoors. Great baseball memorabilia from 3 past Texas Ranger All-Stars/Hall of Famers highlight the exhibits which include items from Babe Ruth, Joe DiMaggio, Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams, and many more.

I passed through town a number of times, but unfortunately when they weren't open. Then I happened to find it open on my latest trip passing through town and so very glad I stopped. I highly recommend this place and will return specifically; making this the...

Wow!! Fantastic! Top-notch! Heard about this from friends and we have been planning to visit all year. We finally found a day to have a 3 hour road trip to visit Woody's Museum and it was worth the drive!!! I am not a classic car or baseball guru, but I thoroughly enjoyed sharing this experience with my father who does love old cars & baseball!! The caliber of this museum is right up there with the Smithsonian! Every detail of the museum from the floor to the beautiful ceiling and from the front door back to the bathrooms is top-notch. Be sure to check the bathrooms out. Plan a trip to visit Woody's Classic Car & Baseball museum in Cross Plains! The museum...

Truly an oasis in West Texas (Cross Plains) for any antique car buff. Eye candy everywhere. We marveled at not only the exhibits but the presentations that evoked MANY memories. One of the exhibits was a Ford Falcon. This car was very special to me and my Sweetie. This was the car that I had when I was dating the girl that would become my wife. This car helped to launch our 56 years of marriage! Simply said, "Don't miss seeing this wonderful place". And it's FREE admission !!
