The NTRC is just reopening after recovering from a fire where they lost basically everything. Through the generosity of community members and hardworking NTRC members they have opened on Saturdays. Most of their displays are works in progress but I was happy to find their members even more enthusiastic then they were before. Sharing their club history, display plans and giving us a full tour! Unfortunately rebuilding has come at a cost and there will eventually be a fee to visit the museum but for now its donation only.

The NMRHA has a great setup with a beautiful building. The volunteers are very friendly and happy to talk about their models. Definitely worth a visit.

I visited the museum last year. I loved the way the trains were displayed. The layouts were great. There was some work being done on one of the layouts. The trains that were running were great. I have Lionel and H O scale trains. I also enjoyed the landscaping on the layouts. This museum is a 10 . Keep up the good work and make the kids...

This is a great place to spend some time with the kids. They have areas where kids can interact with the trains and even drive a small set.

If you are interested in model trains this is also a great place to get involved rather than taking over your basement with...
