Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Crosslake

I have never been treated so rudely by a place that is suppose to put a smile on your face! I called over the weekend to order a birthday cake for later next week. I was interrupted after my first 5 words and was told I can NOT order any cakes for this weekend and that they have over 100 cakes in the freezer and he will deal with it when I come in. I tried again to say I didn't want it for this weekend but was again interrupted and talked over. I never even got to say one full sentence. What terrible customer service and after reading some of the reviews it is no wonder the orders are incorrect, no one listens to the customer. Went in yesterday for lunch lobby was closed which I understand so we used the drive-thru and ordered 2 A1 double burger meals. Pull up to window to pay and gave us our total which was $23 and some change which didn't seem right. I was thinking maybe they started to charge for your fries and drink. Get back to our job sight with our meals and they microwaved our burger Patty's. No color other than grey so they never even touched a flat top! Worst meal I've ever payed for and will not be going back. The newest owners have absolutely ran this place into the ground. You’d be better of scavenging in the woods for food.

Our food was cold, dry, and took 20 minutes to get.

The kids inside don’t know basic customer service, nor how to answer basic questions. (IE: what kids meals do you have).

Never… have I waited for ice cream longer than I waited for food.

The trash was full, the lobby was closed, employee shortage or not, this is not acceptable from any place of business.

When you have read this, and still decide to go… don’t be surprised when you get awful service.
