Culebrita Beach — Attraction in Culebra

Incredible, beautiful, uninhabited Culebrita is a Carribean gem, with unrivaled natural beauty and award-worthy beaches. We stumbled upon a tour group making the 20 minute boat ride from Culebra and it became the highlight of our travels to PR.

Abundant reefs near the shore made for excellent snorkeling, and we saw nurse sharks, squid, and a plethora of fish, corals, sponges, etc.

A quick hike (through fairly rugged terrain) will take you to the lighthouse or other beaches, and the trails are well blazed with sufficient signage.

This place is absolutely amazing. I’ve been all over the Caribbean, Hawaii, Bora Bora, and the U. S. And I can honestly say this beach holds its own with any of them. One of the most amazing beaches that I have seen in my life. The only way to get here is in a boat or jetski. You need to bring all the things you may need there is no place to buy stuff.
