I've been here at this beach 12 times now. This is an amazing experience that if you ever get to go to Culebra PR you must see this site. It's amazing how many times I have been here and every time I take a photo with this tank it constantly is changing the design on it I love this island. I hope to move here by next year. The people are kind and always helpful. They appreciate tourists. It's safe and barley any accident on this island, considering you can barely make it past 35 miles an hour before you hit a turn or an iguana 😅 It's always such a great time, great friends, and great music. This beach is on the 10 most visited and best beaches in the world! Look it up! It also changes on design everytime I have gone and seen it, Scroll through the photos to see how it changes. Also there used to be another one up higher above it but I think they took it back because it was still usable for the...
Read moreOne of my favorite beaches here in PR, great for literally everything you could do at the beach, only thing that really isn't allowed is spear fishing, and any type of Marine vehicle because of the reef that is out far into the water, for safety ,but I've been all over beaches form Vieques to Puerto Rico and part's of culebra, it's great for the family to swim and the tanks to get a bit of history lessons, and the reef to see some amazing creatures, I went out and probably five minutes later I saw stingrays and eels and all sorts of other marine life, I highly recommend visiting this beach even if it's just a few minutes, it's very relaxing and not to rough ,they have some construction going on in the back , they got food , drinks , bathrooms ,and more I hope that anyone who visits this beach gets to enjoy it like I have , hope you have a...
Read moreThe painted tank at Flamenco Beach is one of the most unique and iconic sights in Puerto Rico. Once part of the U.S. Navy’s presence on the island, this old military tank has been transformed into a colorful piece of art, covered in vibrant graffiti and paintings that change over time.
It’s a striking contrast to the soft white sand and turquoise water of Flamenco Beach, and it gives the area a special character that blends history, culture, and creativity. Visitors love stopping by to take photos, and it has become a must-see landmark for anyone visiting the beach.
The tank reminds you of Culebra’s history while showing how the island has reclaimed its past in a positive and artistic way. It’s more than just an abandoned relic — it’s now part of the story that makes Flamenco Beach one of the most unique and memorable beaches...
