Kenneth Hahn Upper Park — Attraction in Culver City

Kenneth Hahn Upper Park is an amazing place to go and hang out for a day with friends, family or even going solo, with so much to see and do! Up here, it’s almost like a separate park of the greater Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area. Activities are almost endless with a large open space for disc golf, more space for field sports, loop trails for hiking, fitness area for workouts and a playground for the kids! Walk thru the Dr. Martin Luther King Junior Memorial Tree Grove and also see the Martin Luther King Junior Memorial along with meaningful inscriptions! Lookout upon Los Angeles from high above with a short hike along a mini trail, just east of the playground. The view is perhaps the most spectacular view of Downtown LA from the Westside! Stroll the Hummingbird Garden and see the extraordinary Trochilidae hover about the beautiful garden trail. Continue around past Janice's Green Valley, also previously known as Baldwin Valley, where the loop trail encircles the disk golf course past the western edge of the Upper Park, good for even more views of the Baldwin Hills, the Hollywood Sign looking north and occasional peek-a-boo ocean views further west. For those so fortunate to see, the sunset from the upper park is a day topper with any time spent here! Parking is limited, just to the right of where Park Hill Road levels off, with street side parking by the Nature School and LA Forest School.
