While I thoroughly enjoyed the food and ambiance, I must express my disappointment regarding the additional charge for credit card payments. Penalizing customers for using a widely accepted form of payment is disheartening and detracts from an otherwise pleasant experience. I believe eliminating this unnecessary fee would greatly benefit both the restaurant and its customers.
Paying by credit card offers convenience and security to customers, allowing us to track expenses, earn rewards, and avoid carrying large sums of cash. By removing the extra charge, you would demonstrate a commitment to customer satisfaction and create a more seamless dining experience.
Moreover, eliminating this fee would attract a larger customer base. In today's digital age, people heavily rely on credit and debit cards for transactions. Adapting to this trend is essential to ensure customers feel welcome and appreciated. It's crucial to keep up with evolving payment preferences to remain competitive in the dining industry.
One alternative worth considering is slightly raising menu prices instead of implementing an additional charge for credit card payments. By incorporating the cost of credit card transactions into the overall pricing structure, the restaurant can provide a more transparent and seamless experience for customers. This approach ensures that all patrons, regardless of their preferred payment method, can enjoy the delicious cuisine without feeling burdened by extra fees. It also eliminates any potential confusion or frustration associated with separate charges for different payment options.
Furthermore, I am concerned that the imposition of an additional charge for credit card payments may inadvertently affect the gratuity amount left by customers for the servers. In an attempt to recover the fee, some patrons might consider reducing the tip they leave, which could have unintended consequences for the hardworking staff who contribute to the overall dining experience. By removing the credit card charge and incorporating it into the menu prices, the restaurant can alleviate this concern and ensure that its valued servers continue to receive fair compensation for their exceptional service. This approach promotes a harmonious relationship between customers and staff, fostering an atmosphere of appreciation and satisfaction for all parties involved.
I strongly urge you to reconsider this policy and prioritize customer convenience. By embracing the benefits of credit card payments and removing the extra charge, the overall dining experience can be enhanced, fostering lasting...
Read moreI have been to this winery several times. The ambiance is beautiful and the dry red wine is really good. The menu is good and the quality of food is good. When it starts to get cooler, they usually have a fire on the back patio where you can meet new friends around the fire. I had my husband's 40th birthday party here. I reserved a table for 20 people and we brought in a caterer who set up our food. They didn't require that we purchase their food from their menu. We made up for this by ordering several bottles of wine. I really couldn't (in good conscious) use their facilities, bring in our own food, without ordering a lot of wine. I also had my best friends 40th birthday party their as well on the back patio. We reserved a party of 20 and they had our tables reserved for us. Again, we ordered lots of wine. I am thinking one day they will reconsider their reservation policy as their business grows. it is almost impossible to get a table in the evenings, especially wknds, due to all these big party reservations. That's the downside of their reservation policy. My recommendation is if you have an off day, stop by at 3:00 ish and enjoy the beautiful scenery in the daylight and easily...
Read moreSarah’s Vineyard is a beautiful place to enjoy some food and wine. They have a large food menu that ranges from snacks to woodfired pizzas. The wine selection also fits a wide variety of tastes. You have dry to sweet red and white options. If you are in the mood for something else, the homemade Sangria will hit the spot.
Wine can be ordered by the glass, in half or full carafes. A half carafe holds about three glasses, while a full carafe holds about six. Since the wine is out of a tap, they offer to bottle any leftover wine for a small fee to take home.
They offer a wide range of seating options. As you first walk up, you will see a beautiful covered pavilion. However, it is not always open. There are also other outdoor areas on the side and out the back. All of the outside areas offer wonderful views of the property. For those who don’t want to sit outside, they have a smaller inside seating area.
We switch to a cold, dry white wine during the hot summer and enjoyed their Double Trouble. The hot pretzel appetizer was delicious and plenty for both of us.
Overall, we had a wonderful time at Sarah’s Vineyard and will...
