Riverwood Overlook — Attraction in Dallas

Just an interesting bend of the Trinity River, as it flows through Southern Dallas. Around the bend, to the North, is the Trinity Autobahn Society. Just out of sight, to the left, is the old Lock & Dam. There is a a driveway, that looks like man-made trail, leading to the Old Dam Keeper's House, but it is currently occupied & should NOT be approached. Recently, a wide, cement trail was layed connecting this to Gateway Park & Horse Trail. On the other side, is a man-made trail, eventually leading to the Trinity Autobahn, but it is still rough & UNpaved. Hopefully, they'll repave the parking area, because it's really old & bad to drive. It's also a fairly dangerous area, and I would not suggest...

A very capable place of being something 😔 wonderful, unfortunately very trashed out. Lots of bullet casing, unemptied trash A significant Recycling ♻️ of the bottles on the bank is needed. It is a lovely 1.5 trail to this point terrible drive to here. No chairs, no table, just a good look at the mighty Trinity River. Dallas, TX needs to do better in their lower urban community I see no reason why a bench, park or basic trash not picked up...

I like this spot for fishing at the river Trinity but some people throw a lot trash it was my first time and also some guy come out tell us was private property he was really mad because a lot people dump a lot trash ...
